I grew up in south eastern Massachusetts on a healthy diet of rock n roll, sci-fi and pizza.  When I was 13 my mother gave me a Pentax Super ME 35mm camera and said, "Here, you'd be good at this."  It sat in my closet for 5 years until I needed it for a school assignment.  That year, I spent every penny I had getting film developed.  Mom knew best.
